Andrew is the Vice President of Tradecraft at SpecterOps, where he leads the Tradecraft Research and Capability Engineering (TRACE) and Training teams. Positioned at the critical intersection of offensive research and practical application, Andrew translates complex adversary techniques into actionable tradecraft, specialized tools, and industry-leading training. His mission is to empower organizations to move beyond reactive defense by mastering—and disrupting—the attack paths used by modern threat actors.
As a former member of a specialized DoD Red Team, he has spent years simulating sophisticated adversaries to secure critical assets across the defense, federal, and private sectors. This deep operational background allows him to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring SpecterOps’ clients and students receive insights grounded in real-world experience.

Kelly is responsible for running Human Resources, Finance, and backend operations for SpecterOps. She began her career in the cyber security industry when she joined Mandiant (FireEye), where she served as their managed services coordinator and eventually the internal and external and logistical training coordinator. Before joining Specter, Kelly served as the operations coordinator with Veris Group’s Adaptive Threat Division, where she was responsible for ensuring oversight, event logistics, management, and billing for $5+ million in services annually.

Prior to SpecterOps, Justin held leadership roles at Gigamon, ICEBRG, and Microsoft Global Security, and served as a U.S. Air Force Airborne Cryptologic Linguist. He brings a unique blend of technical expertise, business strategy, and mission-driven focus to advancing the security community.

In his previous life, David was a senior technical lead for the National Security Agency Red Team, providing mission direction through numerous large-scale operations.

With over two decades of experience in information security, Elad has dedicated most of his career to offensive research, identifying systemic security weaknesses in complex environments and developing real-world adversary tradecraft that abuses intended functionality for offensive capabilities, particularly across Windows, Active Directory, and hybrid identity ecosystems. Over the years, his research has advanced the industry’s understanding of identity-based attack techniques and defensive strategy.

Russel Van Tuyl is Vice President of Services at SpecterOps, where he leads the team delivering offensive and defensive security services to enterprise clients. With over 20 years of IT and information security experience and as a retired United States Air Force veteran with 25 years of service, Russel brings deep operational and technical experience to strategic leadership. He oversees service delivery quality, drives cross-functional initiatives, and provides executive insights and forecasting to support C-suite decision-making. Currently, Russel focuses on artificial intelligence and security—helping organizations secure their AI implementations, enabling red team operations with these emerging capabilities, and addressing threats through Identity Attack Path Management. He actively contributes to the security community through open-source projects on GitHub, developing tools for red team operations, and has presented at conferences including BlackHat Arsenal.

In 2004, Mr. Mandia founded Mandiant Corporation, which became known as a world leader in responding to prominent cyber security breaches. In 2013 Mandiant was acquired by FireEye, where Mandiant went on to become the core of FireEye’s highly successful cyber security business. From 2016 until the company’s acquisition by Google in September 2022, Mr. Mandia served as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of FireEye and later, Mandiant, Inc., following its corporate name change.
Mr. Mandia began his cyber security career in the United States Air Force as a Computer Security Officer, and later as a Special Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. He is a Founder and General Partner at Ballistic Ventures, and serves as a member of the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC). He has taught Graduate classes at both The George Washington University as well as Carnegie Mellon University on cybersecurity and computer forensics, and has authored three books on the topic of responding to cybersecurity breaches.
